LEAN ORIENTATION
Overview
Lean Orientation provides participants with a hands-on understanding of the Lean Sigma methodology. The workshop is specifically designed to provide participants with an appreciation of the application of Lean. It covers many high level topics. Using Process Simulation will allow us to go in deeper detail about the tools and techniques of the DISC Lean improvement process.
Objective
- Build a common understanding of the importance of process management (managing and measuring the efficiency of operational processes and using a structured model to identify improvement opportunities)
- Generate awareness of the critical role leaders play in any LEAN Sigma initiative
- Introduce the DISC Lean process and the most fundamental Lean tools and metrics
- Provide participants with the skills and Lean Sigma expertise necessary to identify project opportunities, support project teams and utilize the methodology in strategic planning
